We already have an RHI accredited boiler but do not understand what we need to do in order to meet our on going obligations?
We have experience in dealing with the RHI since it was first launched in 2011. We offer an initial desk top assessment and an on going compliancy service.
We have not received any payments from the RHI and do not understand what action we should be taking to bring this up to date, can you help?
We can undertake a no obligation verbal assessment in order to understand the issue and propose a bespoke solution to meet your needs.
We are looking to use such waste wood as MDF or Chipboard as a fuel for heating and are un sure whether we can access the RHI scheme or meet environmental regulations, is this a viable solution?
Yes this is a very viable solution and we can provide such services as fuel testing or analysing material datasheets to ensure your proposed fuel type meets the biomass content requirement to access the RHI scheme, along with its suitability for combustion to produce energy.
Our local authority has advised us that we need a SWIP or a permit to operate our waste wood to energy plant, we are unsure what regulatory requirements we should be meeting, can you help?
Yes, we can provide one-off services and help advise in regards to the regulatory position of your proposed or current installation. We can also engage directly with the relevant authority on your behalf.
Can you recommend a suitable supplier of boilers that can use waste wood?
Some biomass boilers aren’t suitable to use such fuels as MDF or Chipboard and certain systems can be over specified if you are solely using clean virgin timber wood chip. We can advise on the correct technology and control techniques depending on the fuel specification. Subsequently ensuring value for money and return on your investment.
I am based in Ireland and am interested in the forthcoming SEI ‘SSRH’ Support Scheme for Renewable Heat, do you deal in Ireland and can you help with accessing the scheme?
We have worked with a number of UK and global support schemes and can assist with general advice and applications to the scheme. We will be keeping abreast of all new incentive schemes and their underpinning regulations.
Our appliance is installed within a Smoke Control Area and have installed an exempt appliance under the Clean Air Act but now our local authority are stating we require a permit if it is above 50kg/hr feed rate, can you help with this?
Yes, we can liaise with the manufacturer of the appliance on your behalf in order to provide the required data to your local authority. We can offer advice in order to achieve the most favourable regulatory position or propose equipment upgrades/add ons to meet any new legislation.
We have encountered issues associated to our pipe work and metering and are not sure who we should speak to in order to resolve this?
We have a number of contacts within the industry and will happily point you in the right direction.
